Dr. Kristi Reynolds is an epidemiologist with research interests in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Her work includes studies of risk factors for heart disease, stroke, diabetes and end-stage renal disease, trends in diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular disease rates, prevention of hypertension, atrial fibrillation and stroke, and quality of care among overweight and obese patients. Additionally, Dr. Reynolds is involved in studies to examine methods of measuring medication adherence, reasons for primary nonadherence and health care interventions to improve medication adherence. Dr. Reynolds serves on the Journal of Diabetes and its Complications , the Journal of Hypertension, and the American Journal of Hypertension editorial boards and is the site principal investigator for several NIH funded collaborations.
