    Dr. Nancy Weinfield joined MAPRI as research scientist in February 2019. She is a developmental psychologist with expertise in family relationships, maternal and child health and wellness, and mental and behavioral health. Her research interests include postpartum parental depression, adverse childhood experiences, childhood nutrition, child behavioral and emotional health, and the influence of unmet social needs on health disparities.

    Prior to joining MAPRI, Dr. Weinfield was a Senior Study Director at Westat, in Rockville, MD. She was previously on the faculty at the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, VA.
